The Southeast Sports Network has announced select coverage of National and Regional games. This will include a portion of Eats Hamilton High School’s contests. The Hurricanes of Ooltewah, Tennessee will be delivered to thousands of listeners via a variety of channels. SESN will utilize sesnsports.com, YouTube, Facebook, Spotify, Mixlr, and more as the audio is distributed online. The games will also be carried on 105.3 Power Radio and 96.9 Fresh Air Radio. Gabriel Schray will serve as the broadcaster for the games this season.
“We’ll try to get as many local games in as we can,” said Gabriel. “I’m looking at a few games in Florida and Kentucky as well to feature in addition to what we’re doing here in Southeast Tennessee.” You will be able to visit sesnsports.com and click onto the ‘tune in’ tab to easily find the radio broadcasts while they are live. The finished contests will also be archived on many of the platforms used.
“I really feel like free and accessible audio and video are the future of broadcasting sports,” explained Gabriel. “It needs to be fan-centric. There are just too many great options to watch and listen to sports. If you take it to them, if it sounds good, if it looks good, they will tune in. If you have to pay for it, and it’s a bad product.. it’s going to fizzle out.”
